[Togawa model] Supervised by Nippon Life Insurance baseball team manager Togawa Akihiro. Coach Togawa's defensive theory is, "Don't point your palms too far toward the ball, but rather keep your gloved hand at an angle that allows it to hang down naturally." Taking his unique defensive theory into consideration, they pursued a design that would allow the ball to naturally fit into the glove, resulting in the 'Togawa model'. The design does not interfere with the natural movements of humans, allowing for the smooth movement of the glove and throwing motion required by fielders.
