Since its introduction in 1985, THE NORTH FACE's iconic mountain outer shell has been improved. It has been updated to be both flexible and strong. The outer material is a 150 denier GORE-TEX products 2-layer structure, and the lining is made of lightweight and strong ripstop nylon. Laser punching is applied to the shoulders and underarms of the lining to efficiently expel moisture from inside the garment. The roomy silhouette allows for easy movement even when combined with a mid-layer such as fleece. It is an all-rounder that can be used in autumn and winter mountain scenes, from winter mountain climbing to snow sports. It has a zip-in-zip design.
