The alpine version of the award-winning Smart can be used with half and single ropes making it the ideal companion for all kinds of alpine and ice climbing. As a belay, the Smart Alpine offers the same great qualities as the Smart: it directly stops the climber in case of an unexpected fall and locks in even when the user is weak. The Smart Alpine can also be used to independently belay one or two second climbers in auto-lock mode from a fixed point.
The device is also suitable for up-climbing. Black-red version for use with ropes with diameters from 8.7 to 10.5 mm.
