The Nuptse Bootie is made with the same Vibram ArcticGrip sole as Columbia's popular Sapland model, making it less slippery.

These warm, waterproof winter boots are padded with Thermolite Ecomade for lightweight warmth, and are also slip-resistant enough to withstand use on snow and ice.
A Techproof waterproof membrane is inserted, and the upper is made of 1260D recycled Cordura nylon, which is highly resistant to abrasion and has a water-repellent finish.
The last shape is designed to fit Japanese feet, and the ankle hold system is built in to improve the fit.
The outsole is equipped with Vibram Arctic Grip, which was developed with a compound that does not harden at low temperatures.
By adopting THE NORTH FACE's original sole pattern, the contact area with the road surface is increased, providing the grip needed on snow and ice.
