Lightweight waterproof outdoor shoes for women equipped with VECTIV technology that pursues energy efficiency while walking and running with stability, propulsion, and grip. FUTURELIGHT (THE NORTH FACE's proprietary research and development material), a nano-film-like waterproof and breathable material made by spraying micro-unit polyurethane fibers, is used for the membrane. The upper is based on synthetic leather and equipped with mesh to enhance breathability. Areas prone to wear are reinforced with lightweight and highly protective TPU overlays. The bottom unit maintains rigidity with a 3D TPU plate and ensures comfortable cushioning with a compression-molded EVA midsole. It leads to stable walking performance without shaking. The outsole uses surface control that exerts high grip in multiple directions. The slightly deeper lug pattern improves the ability to handle unpaved mountain roads and gravel roads.
