These trail running shoes are for runners who aim to complete long distance trail races of around 42km. The bottom unit is equipped with the "VECTIV" system, which converts energy during walking and running into propulsion to promote stable running. The upper material is made of air mesh that is lightweight and breathable, while being strong enough to protect the feet from friction such as stones. The waterproof membrane uses "FUTURELIGHT", a light and flexible material developed exclusively by THE NORTH FACE. The sole unit is equipped with a fork-shaped 3D TPU plate that provides stability and propulsion in multiple directions by making cuts, and a thick, highly resilient EVA midsole that absorbs the impact of landing firmly. By placing a large amount of cushioning material on the tongue and inside of the opening, the feeling of tightness is reduced and the burden on the feet is eased. The rubber outsole provides high grip on different road surfaces, both dry and wet, and the 5mm deep lugs provide a firm grip even in muddy conditions, providing support with high stability and propulsion.
