The upper is made of 70% recycled polyester mesh material with sufficient strength and breathability, and the waterproof membrane is made of THE NORTH FACE's proprietary "HydroSeal". It has excellent waterproofness while maintaining moderate breathability, reducing water intrusion. The sole has a thick compression molded EVA midsole with excellent cushioning and a rugged rubber sole that grips from dry to wet conditions to support walking. The toe is equipped with a rubber guard that protects the feet from friction such as rocks, and the slightly raised shape reduces snagging on obstacles such as stones.
