This is a women's waterproof trail running shoe for the winter season equipped with VECTIV technology, which pursues energy efficiency during walking and running with stability, propulsion, and grip. The gaiter part is a sock liner that reduces the intrusion of snow and water and increases heat retention. Spectra yarn, which has extremely high cut resistance, is placed on the ripstop to improve the robustness of the entire shoe. The membrane uses FUTURELIGHT, a nano-film-like waterproof and breathable material made by spraying micro-unit polyurethane fibers, which was researched and developed exclusively by THE NORTH FACE. The inner shoe is a Matryx panel inner made of high-strength Kevlar yarn. The double shoe structure enhances waterproofness and heat retention. The midsole is a high-rebound two-layer compression molded EVA equipped with a 3D carbon fiber plate, which achieves both walking stability and shock absorption. The outsole uses surface control rubber with excellent wear resistance and a slightly deeper 5mm lug pattern design. It demonstrates excellent grip performance that can handle a variety of dry and wet conditions. These are technical shoes with a full racing specification that support light running during the winter season.
